Hi, I'm Laura, the journalist of Mad town. I'm in charge of the news in our city, for example: events, tragedies, information of interest, the weather, celebrity visits, etc.... I love my job because is very funny and interesting for the people, because if for example someone will travel to some place and want know the wather that will be I can help us with my information. How bat it have this job is which it's very self-sacrificing and you have to be with a thousand eyes because always there is news that can happen and you do not realize. I started to work in this when I finished the University, since then I haven't stopped. First, I worked ni a newspaper and later I was hired on TV. I'm happy with my work and I hope stay long !!! 😊

I am Adolf, the SOLDIER of Madtown. 

My job is very important because here we protect the  city and their habitants. When a big problem happens, like a terrorist atack or a nature disaster, we are there to stop it or to help the people bringing them to the hospital and cooperating with them.

But I am not only a militar, I´ m a spy too. When my boss tell me to spy someone I go to him, and I take a photo, his finger print, the phone number and all the information that I can take about him.

My job isn't the best of the world but I like. I work of waiter in a restaurant. I arrive to work at 8 a.m, to serve the breakfast. The breakfast end about 12 a.m. About 1 p.m. I serve lunch, many people come to eat to our restaurant. Don't have complicated food, we have hamburger, pizza, macaroni, steak...The dessert  is the best because have ice-cream, pancakes, cakes, brownie...it's delicius. Some days I go out of working after lunchs, but others days I have to serve the dinner.
Is not important for me to be late to muy house because I don't have anything to do. I like my job because I speak with the public and I like meet news faces

MONEY COLLECTION TO REPAIR THE HEAVY DAMAGES AFTER EUGENIA'S HURRICANE

Our neighbours have raised several campaings in order to repair and help the people who have suffered big lost and damage after the hurricane. 
These are the ones who have been selected to be developed in our city. 



 Thanks to all the inhabitants for the great ideas which have proposed. We hope that lots of people take part in them and to collect a big amount of money.

Hurricane Warning

 A Hurricane Warning has been issued for  as Hurricane Eugenia heads toward Mad Town.

At 5 a.m. the center of the storm was 330 miles south-southwest of Mad Town

Eugenia’s maximum sustained winds were 100 mph as it moved to the north-northwest at 7 mph. Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 30 miles from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 115 miles.

The system is forecast to increase in speed on Wednesday and take a turn toward the north-northeast on Thursday. On the forecast track, the core of Hurricane Eugenia will near Mad Town on Thursday.

A dangerous storm surge is expected to produce coastal flooding in Mad town. Near the coast, the surge will be accompanied by large and destructive waves.
